TikTok Shop Order Management Process: From Order Placement to Successful Delivery

Access and Order Statuses

Go to Seller Center > Orders > Manage Orders. The page is organized into tabs corresponding to each order stage, helping you track and process orders by status instead of viewing a flat list.

Tools for Faster Order Processing

• Global search: search by order ID, tracking number, product ID, or product category in a single bar—search up to 100 different IDs at once, separated by commas and enclosed in quotation marks.
• List View / Card View: switch between viewing more orders on one page (list) or viewing more details for each order (card), depending on whether you need bulk processing or careful inspection of individual orders.
• Add notes: assign color flags and custom notes to each order, filter by flag color, export notes in the order list, or print them on shipping labels so packing staff know which orders need special attention.
• Export orders: export all or filtered orders for reconciliation and reporting.

Core Process

After a customer places an order, it appears in Manage Orders. You select a default pickup method (one-time setup, unless you want to change it), filter orders in the “To Ship” tab, arrange shipment and print labels, pack, and hand over to the carrier. The status automatically updates to “Shipped” once the carrier confirms pickup.

Risks to Keep in Mind

Missing orders in the “Action Required” tab—especially cancellation and return/refund requests—not only affects customer experience but can also impact shop performance metrics if processed late. You should check this tab at least 1-2 times a day, not just when you receive notifications.
